Based in Gauteng, South Africa, Compumach Engineering is one of the local Industry leaders in the manufacture of superior CNC machined components.
When it comes to manufacturing industry experience in the aviation, mining and general industry sectors, Compumach Engineering boasts more than a decade in the industry.
The experience includes active involvement in quality assurance and control which is still very evident today in the pride they show in accepting nothing less than the “perfect product” before it is delivered on time to a customer.
Inspections are carried out (including FAI) in accordance with customer specifications and requirements. Which include requirements flowed down from the OEM’s.
In line with Compumach Engineering’s policy to only deliver on-time quality product, they were certified to ISO9001:2008 in early 2009
It was, however, not enough for Compumach Engineering, as continual improvement of the already high quality levels as a on-going objective. Compumach Engineering thus joined in a South African Goverment initiative ( through department of Trade and Industry)as managed by the Aerospace Industry Support Initiative (AISI), to become one of the first engineering facilities in South Africa to commence implementation of the AS/EN9100 Standard (Quality Management System for Aviation, Space and Defence).
Compumach Engineering is geared for efficient high volume production and currently utilises 9 CNC machines which include:
- 3-Axis Vertical CNC Machining
- 4-Axis Vertical CNC Machining
- CNC Turning.
Compumach Engineering’s facility has a dedicated climate controlled inspection laboratory and all inspection pieces are calibrated and verified as required by international standards.
